Game of the week
Kim's game
An observation and memory game: what was on the tray?
- Ages 7+
- 3+ players
- About 15 min
- Indoors
- Outdoors
- On camp
You need
15–20 small objects, a tray or a cloth to cover them, paper and pencils.
A new game for scout meetings and camps every Monday. Next game goes up on Monday 2 November.
How to play
- Lay small objects on a tray and cover them with a cloth.
- Uncover them for one minute. Everyone looks; nobody touches or writes.
- Cover them again. Each patrol writes down every object it remembers.
- The patrol with the most correct objects wins.
Try also
- Remove one object and ask what is missing.
- Use things found in nature nearby: cones, leaves, stones.

Life at Hamrar
Days your group will experience together
From the first walk around the grounds to an evening programme by the campfire, get a feel for what is waiting for your group.
More than a place to stay
Give your group a place to make memories together
Hamrar is made for scout groups who want more than a bed for the night. It gives you a natural setting for challenges, shared moments, and a programme your group will still be talking about after you return home.
With woodland, open ground, and practical facilities on site, you can keep the group together while giving every day its own sense of adventure. Bring your own ideas, or let us help shape a stay around your group.
